The service

JobPencil provides tools for building project cost estimates. The free plan is supported by advertising and may limit the number of saved estimates; paid plans may offer additional features.

Estimates are estimates

Material prices, labor guidance, and any suggested figures in JobPencil are provided for planning purposes only. Actual costs vary by region, supplier, and time. JobPencil is not responsible for differences between estimated and actual project costs, and nothing in the service constitutes professional, financial, or legal advice. You are responsible for the accuracy of estimates you send to your clients.

Your content

You retain ownership of the estimates and other content you create. You grant us the limited rights needed to store and display that content to you and to operate the service.

Acceptable use

Do not misuse the service — including attempting to access other users' data, disrupting the service, or using it for unlawful purposes. We may suspend accounts that violate these terms.

Changes

We may update these terms as the service evolves. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. We will keep this page current with the latest version.
